Applicants registering in IT&T engineering, where there was no official qualification before the 1990s, will be considered for a three-year computer science degree or diploma. • Engineers Australia letter certifying that the candidate has met the academic and competency standards for a professional engineer.
• If you obtained your qualification from a university outside of Australia, it is recognized by the Washington Accord, which acknowledges Professional Engineers.

Experience 

• To be considered eligible, the candidate must have at least five years of work experience in the respective sector. By the time you register, you must have obtained experience within the preceding five to seven years.
• To notify your assessor about your eligibility, you must provide your cv with the following information together with the application.
• Name of the organization from which the job was obtained 
• Brief information about the firm's services
• Roles and responsibilities are carried out throughout the employment time.

• Your professional experience should demonstrate the concepts, beliefs, and techniques you applied to solve real-world situations.

Recommendation by Peers

• To be eligible for an experience claim, applicants must have at least three referees on their side. It might be coworkers or superiors who have been familiar with your job duties for at least a year. The referee should meet one of the following requirements 
• They must hold a CPEng, RPEQ, CP, or comparable status and be from the same discipline as the applicant seeking certification.
• Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the applicant with more than seven years of work experience.

Professional Development

To fulfil the CPD criteria, applicants must have completed 150 hours of CPD in the previous three years. Part-time work and breaks in between work periods, on the other hand, necessitate a record of 150 hours during the previous five years. CPD is classified into the following categories.
